Before the establishment of Inkwin Inkjet Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Professor Xiaqin Wang (formerly of Tokyo University Japan now transferred to Shanghai University) and Dr. Wenbin Li (Shanghai University Dong Hua) had researched fluid formulations (ink) and dispersion & suspension of nano particles (pigments) in fluids (inks) for over 6 years. Towards the conclusion of the work experience and the research achievement, Inkwin was formed. Inkwin had supported the ongoing research of nano particles in fluids (inks) in Shanghai for many years to follow up the innovation of ink. Producing steady good quality ink is Inkwin's duty. Researching new ink technology is inkwin's Propulsion.

Since Incorporation, Inkwin has been synonymous with excellence in the inkjet printing industry. Inkwin is well known as a leading manufacturer of digital printing inks, supplying inks to distributors on a worldwide basis. Now Inkwin is one of the fastest growing professional inkjet ink manufacturing companies. Inkwin inks can suit for the wide format Inkjet Printers. These printers can print graphics on billboard, back light Billboards, Advertising, Signs & Displays and also Textiles. The Print head for those printers are from Xaar, Spectra, Epson, Konica, Seiko and others.

Inkwin have separated ink formulations with a compatible DOD technology for different print head. In 2007, Inkwin ink had passed the British Xaar high degree of accurate printing Certification. The filters for Inkwin ink are all from Pall, USA. Not only the world famous FLAAR report have introduced Inkwin to the worldwide markets but also RoHS report and Chinese official MSDS could prove Inkwin ink was very safe and environmentally friendly. Now Inkwin are welcomed by customers from all over the world.

Inkwin mainly supplies directly to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) and to end-users through licensed distributors worldwide.
